My Story

I'm Emily Jones, a British yoga and mindfulness teacher living in Stockholm. I started practicing yoga and meditation eleven years ago. At the time, I was a journalist working on my first novel and I wanted to use the practice to write more words per day! My daily practice definitely supported me in this goal but it also unlocked so much more...

My practice has helped me to weather life's storms with more resilience, be kinder to myself and others, and discover what brings my life meaning... which (as it turns out) is teaching other's to build their own practice! Since becoming a teacher, I've learnt that practicing yoga and mediation regularly can be transformative for us all - no matter what is going on in our bodies, minds or lives. So I'm passionate about helping the members of my community to build a practice that works for them and lasts a lifetime.

I teach yoga and meditation courses and retreats that combine live classes and experiences with home videos and meditations. My goal is to help you build a strong home practice beyond my classes so you can always come to your mat for your own inspiration and support no matter where you are in life!

I also provide one-on-one reiki sessions, which I deliver in my lakeside home
 in Bromma, Stockholm or over zoom. These sessions are a chance for me to connect to my clients on a deeper level and use meditation, visualisation and reiki to help you drop into a deep state of relaxation, ease tension, and overcome blocks in the body or mind. Included in the session is a personalised 10-minute meditation audio file so you can build on our session at home and you have a resource to support you whenever you feel anxiety or tensions rising.
